Omar Uribe, MD

After attending medical school, Omar discovered his true passion is in improving healthcare through the thoughtful design and integration of innovative technologies. In his role at Syntrillo, Omar draws upon his diverse background spanning clinical, engineering, and business experience to translate the vision of the company into actionable steps.

Prior to Syntrillo, Omar assisted in managing and executing a large clinical study, set up processing lines at a biomaterials plant, and worked as a chemist for a large laboratory.

Omar, a native of Peru, earned his Bachelors from the Georgia Institute of Technology (ChemEng 2012 and BioChem 2012), and his MD from the University of Virginia Medical School. In his free time, Omar enjoys traveling, learning languages, and teaching latin dancing.
